The Main body parts, once modeled, completed the form of the Mech I have named Gladius. Gladius is the Latin word for sword and is also a type of sword. The form once completed, exposed some flaws and problems. The foot area lacked an ability to pivot. The hands design clashed with the overall common design aspects I created with the mech. Also the pelvis area had some substantial problems with scale and form. I went about to correct these problems and came up with this.



I have corrected the problems previously stated and am breaking down major components with color,

I went back and did some more conceptualizing and focused hard on the functionality over the last two weeks. Here is a concept drawing I did of the mech. Blocking out and drawing took me around 4 hours.
