Animation

Im working as fast as I can to animate the different scenes to begin rendering by friday.

Environment Progress

I have bit the bullet and started working with paint effects. I have estimated that when time comes to finally render, Frames will take around 40 mins depending on the shot. I rendered my images below in 1080 though, and I will be rendering in 720 for the final animation. Also the renders below were heavy shots where I purposely tried to fill the frame.

I need to expand my forest some, not alot, just a bit more. I need to add some fog to help the transition in a distance. Ill just use a a torus as the fog container shape and surround my scene. I need to fix the ground texture mostly, add some rock variance and add rock formation around the firplace. The smoke from the fire is becoming yellow with the light, so I need to increase transparancy or decrease color gain.

I believe these changes will make it look great and I begin the animation.

Transporter FInished

I finished modeling and painting the Mech Transporter and all in all I am pleased with my results. For this week ill rig the mechanical components and place my both my models in the fireplace scene to light.

Painting in Mudbox
 Rendered in Maya.

I been creating a scene with paint effects and low poly meshes that I had previously prepared for edw. Rendering times are high but I should finish on time depending on how well my rigs allow me to animate.

Happy Progress

So I am very close to finishing up the Transporter. I wanted to make use of this break the best way I could. So I looked at my design critically and kept the things I liked and scrapped the things I didn't  In the end I am really happy with the result. I will finish things this week and hopefully solve the environment issue.
